Happy New Year!!!

Hello faithful followers! It's been awhile, I know! The ole blog here has been sadly neglected as we have been working hard on many other things. We are still making changes all the time to make the store "our own" and are happy with the way it's coming along. With that said, we still have LOTS of ideas and exciting stuff on the horizon for the New Year! We've been researching a lot of new product and paper lines and putting together some great classes as well!

Due to the snowstorm before Christmas, our Customer Appreciation Day with One Little Spark has been rescheduled for January 24th. Look for the details coming soon!

Our Playing in the Snow class this Wednesday is just in time to scrapbook all of those snow pictures you took last week! There's still time left to register! Email us at scrapbookcafenj@yahoo.com

Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday Sale!!!

Hello Friends! It's been a long time and we've been super busy (which is no excuse for neglecting our little blog!!!) tsk tsk! We are hanging our heads in shame. But we are BACK! New Product, New Display!

Hi All. We were so excited today when Nora Anne found this great table to display all of our cool new colors of Smooch, Stickles and Glimmer Mist and we really enjoyed putting the display together. Register Soon for Halloween Shaker Box Class!

Hey, you don't want to miss this class, TRUST ME! Kim Bent will be instructing you on this Halloween Shaker Box project that can be used as a Home Decor item for Halloween, then later on add it to your scrapbook layout as a title! Rainy Day Blues

There is no such thing as feeling blue at the Scrapbook Cafe!!!! Why, you ask?!?! There's just too much fun to be had and today that fun begins with the Breaking Free Collection from My Mind's Eye! It's HERE and ready to be played with! So, break out all of your summer, beach, surfing, camping pictures and get ready to dive in :)
The entire line arrived yesterday and I honestly cannot decide which is my favorite, it's all so yummy!

Breaking Free!

When I saw the Breaking Free Collection from My Mind's Eye, I fell in love with it! Growing up at the beach and being crazy for the summer and the ocean, there was no doubt that I was head over heels for this line! A lot of our customers have recently been asking for it too, which made it a NO BRAINER! We had to have it!

With that said, The Breaking Free Collection is ordered and will be on it's way to the Scrapbook Cafe in the next couple of weeks. I don't know about YOU but I can't WAIT!!!!!

Rainy Day and Some Out of Town Guests

I woke up this morning to a RAINY day and I am not upset about it in the least. Colleen is running the shop today, Luke is at daycare until noon which leaves me with a precious little thing called "free time"....AAAAaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Free time to put a dent in my to do list :) So, what are you doing on this rainy day?!

Yesterday we had some customers that came in speaking another language. I didn't recognize it and when I asked them they said they were from Switzerland. It turns out they are here vacationing in the U.S. for three weeks, staying in Atlantic City. I asked them how they wound up in Tuckerton and they said they found us on the internet! WOW! I was pretty surprised to have out of town guests that found us online all the way from SWITZERLAND! Pretty cool :) After visiting with us, they headed next door to One Little Spark to check out the Copics! Those markers are addictive to me :) and if you've never been in there, it's a stamper's dream!!!!

If you're looking for something to do on this rainy day, remember we are running a sale 30-50% off almost everything in the store!!!! We are busy making room for new arrivals! FUN STUFF!

I'll leave you with a photo of the new print we will be hanging in the shop soon! I am a huge fan of Elsie Flanagan's and when I saw this in the Red Velvet Art Shop, I just had to have it!!!! Going from a career in the health insurance industry, to being partners with my sister in our own scrapbooking store is definitely a NEW START! An awesome new beginning for which I am so grateful!
